Job de Wit & Andre Maat

Sadly Wouter Stoter and Victor Ponten had to cancel for our Video Killed The Radio Star panel.
We found great replacement though: Job de Wit and Andre Maat.
André Maat (www.andremaat.com) was born in Germany and graduated at the Art School in Berlin before moving to Amsterdam.
He is working as director for music videos and TV commercials since 2001 and has made promos for bands such as De Staat and Coparck and Erick-E. His most famous work
probably is the flipbook video for ‘Squeeze me’ by Kraak&Smaak. His work has a conceptual background and a playful human touch. When combining different techniques and animations he often works with co-director Superelectric.
Job de Wit is a music journalist, DJ and blogger. He has written for national publications such as Nieuwe Revu, Dagblad de Pers, VPRO Gids, OOR and Blend. He compiles weekly playlists for 22tracks.com and blogs about music videos on jobdewit.nl. With residencies in Melkweg and Club Up, Amsterdam party people have been known to get down to his cutting-edge disco selection.
